Ellen Young

Ellen grew up in Madison, MS, and obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Mississippi State University. She and her husband, Alan, moved to the Memphis area after graduating from MSU in 1991. Ellen worked in general accounting until recently, joining the Benchmark team to learn new things about the finance industry. She looks forward to serving in this new and different capacity.

Ellen and Alan have two grown children, John and Emily. As empty nesters, the Youngs enjoy exploring nearby towns and restaurants with friends and are active members of a local church. Ellen enjoys reading, group fitness, bike rides, and taking Angel (their Pekingese) for walks.
