Kendra graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Marketing/Management degree. Fresh out of college, she became a Financial Planner, working alongside Nancy Knous.  Kendra moved with Nancy when she founded Benchmark Wealth Management. Although Kendra’s path took her away from Benchmark for a season, she stayed in the financial industry for several years.  Her market knowledge came in handy with commodities when she entered the Food Ingredient Industry. Her desire to help people led to a major change and a few years in the non-profit world. Kendra rejoined the Benchmark Team in February of 2020 and holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial. 

Living in Hawaii as a child forged Kendra’s love for all things outdoors.  If it is adventurous, she will try it.  She is a Certified Scuba Diver and her first dive was in the Great Barrier Reef.  She has been skydiving twice, taken trapeze lessons, ziplined and surfed in Nicaragua, hiked the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand, and celebrated NYE in Sydney, Australia with the biggest fireworks show she has ever seen.  She has a close-knit group of friends who live across the US, with whom she travels each year. Kendra longs to visit many more places.

When she cannot travel, most of her time is spent with her 4-legged child and best friend, Mercy.  Mercy also loves to be outside. Sometimes she will help in the garden, but mostly she loves to lay in the yard and people watch.  Mercy has been canoeing, camping, and even on a stand-up-paddle board.  This summer Kendra and Mercy are working on getting Mercy comfortable in their new kayak, and they hope to be out on the water soon together.
